The Willowdale Group of Artists is one of Toronto’s oldest art groups – founded in 1947. Today, up to 200 members enjoy workshops, life drawing sessions and demonstrations by visiting professional artists.
Based in North York, meetings are held every Tuesday evening from September to May at the John McKensie House, 34 Parkview Avenue, or on Zoom. We offer support and community to artists at all skill levels. We meet every week for drawing classes or art demonstrations by accomplished artists. In addition, we have demonstrations, classes and workshops in water color, oils, acrylics and pastel, at several other locations.
Every year we offer an endowment award to a talented young artist studying at York University.
